The Stand's 4.5 pound weighted base can be placed on any flat surface. The Pro Stand weighted base is not suggested for use with heavy-duty DSLR cameras. Simply remove the three-shaft arm assembly from the clamp stand and insert into the base's collar. Secure with the included kex key.
