The APAMPSVHBWS adapter kit from Arkon works with Arkon's range of Dual-T pattern universal smartphone and tablet holders (each sold separately), covering the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2), Slim-Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM050-2), Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2) and Mini Grip Smartphone Holder (SM015-2SLM). The pedestal also suits older Magellan RoadMate, Triton and Maestro GPS units built between 2005 and 2009 that use the Dual T-Slot mounting pattern. Included is a low-profile pedestal offering a choice of adhesive or drill-through installation, along with a swivel ball adapter head that turns a full 360° so you can angle your device exactly how you like it. Fitting is straightforward thanks to tough 3M VHB adhesive that bonds to flat surfaces, and the pedestal can also be teamed with vehicle-specific mounts such as those from ProClip and Pro.Fit. A screw pack comes in the box for a more permanent set-up. Please note: drilling into the body of a vehicle may cause damage that cannot be undone, so take care and speak with a professional mobile installer before drilling anywhere near sensitive motorcycle components. To fit a Garmin GPS, simply unscrew the swivel ball adapter to expose the 17mm ball mount base underneath.
