Built from metal with a circular base plate, the AP38CM1420 pairs a 38mm (1.5 inch) ball with a 1/4"-20 camera bolt, so it drops into 38mm mounts and pedestals from Arkon or RAM Mounts (Size C). Mounts, holders and devices are sold separately.

Featuring a 38mm ball on one end and a 1/4"-20 camera bolt on the other, the AP38CM1420 metal adapter fits any 38mm (1.5 inch) mount or pedestal, including Arkon and RAM Mounts (Size C) hardware. (Mounts, holders and devices sold separately.) The 1/4"-20 bolt threads straight into cameras and other gear that uses the standard 1/4"-20 mounting pattern. Because the mounting plate is round rather than square, it's a handy option for tight spots and devices where a square adapter simply won't sit properly.
