This security hardware kit swaps out the standard knob on any Arkon 38mm ball compatible Robust Shaft Arm, making your mount far less appealing to opportunistic thieves. Inside you'll find a 5/16 inch - 18 acorn nut, a 5/16 inch - 18 x 2 Torx head screw and a 3/16 inch x 1 inch Torx bit.

The SPRMSH38KIT from Arkon is a theft-deterrent replacement kit for the tightening knob fitted to Arkon's 38mm ball compatible Robust Shaft Arms. Supplied in the kit are a 5/16 inch - 18 acorn nut, a 5/16 inch - 18 x 2 Torx head screw, and a 3/16 inch x 1 inch Torx bit. Together these components take the place of the knob and screw that come standard on every 38mm ball compatible Robust Shaft Arm, so the arm can only be loosened with the matching Torx bit.
