The CM088-G17 seat rail or floor car mount works with Garmin nuvi devices that use the 17mm swivel ball mounting pattern, covering the 40, 50, 200, 2013, 24x5 and 25x5 Series along with nuvi 1450, 1450T, 1490T, 1200, 1250, 1260T, 1300, 1350, 1350T, 1370T and 1390T. (Those Garmin nuvi units should come with a mount bracket compatible with the 17mm swivel ball; Arkon sells replacement brackets and holders separately.) Supplied in this package is Arkon's 15" Flexible Steel Seat Rail or Floor Mount only. Built from steel that stays strong while still bending to shape, it's a smart choice for service vehicles, trucks, or anyone who wants their device close at hand but away from the windscreen and dash. End-to-end the mount measures 18 inches, 15" of which is the flexible gooseneck. Fitting to the seat rail is done with a socket wrench: back off the passenger seat track bolt, slide the supplied seat track bolt bracket into place, then do the bolt up again. From there, bend the 15" gooseneck and turn the swivel ball adapter head through a full 360 degrees to dial in the viewing angle. Floor brackets and screws are also included if you'd rather fasten the mount straight to the vehicle floor. (Warning: drilling into the floor of your vehicle may cause damage.
