Arkon's CMP186-12 is a heavy-duty clamp mount with a 12" gooseneck arm, built for any camera using the standard 1/4"-20 mounting thread — Nikon, Sony, Samsung, Canon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic and Pentax bodies all included. Spotting scopes and hunting scopes with the same 1/4"-20 pattern mount up just as easily. Constructed from aluminium that stays strong while remaining bendable, it's a smart answer when you need a camera positioned somewhere with very little free surface space. Clamp the C-clamp base onto a desk, trolley, worktable, bench, lectern, post or similar table-like edge. The jaws hold firm and span from 2.25 inches (57mm) at their widest down to .25 inches (6mm) at their tightest. Shape the 12" gooseneck and turn the swivel ball adapter head through a full 360 degrees to lock in the framing you're after. When you're done, press the quick release button on the mounting plate and slide the camera straight off.
