Arkon's CMPHD006 is a heavy-duty aluminium camera mount built around an 8" multi-angle arm and a 4-hole AMPS drill base, made for permanently installing a camera on a wall, dashboard or similar surface. The base bolts down using the 4-hole AMPS pattern (mounting screws are supplied). Once an industry standard, that pattern places four holes in a rectangle spaced 1.188" by 1.813", measured centre-to-centre. A 1/4"-20 mounting bolt sits on top, so it suits any compatible camera with a 1/4"-20 thread — CCTV and security cameras, in-vehicle camera systems, POV cameras, point-and-shoot models and camcorders all work. Supplied as Arkon's heavy-duty aluminium mount with 8" multi-angle arm and 4-hole AMPS drill base, this solid 8" arm carries three adjustment knobs spaced at 2.5" intervals for quick, precise positioning. Two further 180° adjustment points, one at each end of the mount, give you even more freedom to aim the camera exactly where it's needed.
