The FLBKTRV was designed from the outset to put a phone within reach on a forklift, pallet jack or similar warehouse vehicle. It comprises a pair of black powdercoated steel plates plus the accompanying mounting hardware, with heavy gauge steel construction chosen to survive rough environments such as factories, warehouses and construction sites. Also supplied is a 3.75” Robust Mount Shaft with double ball adjustment points and a RoadVise phone holder. That solid build translates into dependable grip on smartphones in cases weighing up to 2 pounds and measuring up to 4” wide, covering the Apple iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8, S7, S6 and S5, Galaxy Note 8 and Note 5, plus the LG G6, G5 and G4. A spring-loaded mechanism inside the RoadVise Holder expands to secure smartphones up to 4” wide, and Arkon suggests pairing it with phones wearing skins or ruggedised cases. Each steel plate measures 4” x 2.75” x 1/8” and tips the scales at just under half a pound, and because the holes come pre-drilled, installation takes very little time.
