The redesigned GN057-SBH air vent mounting pedestal from Arkon serves as a replacement or an upgrade for a pedestal already in your vehicle (this is not a complete solution; holders are sold separately). It is recommended for use only with Arkon's Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003) and the Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2). The pedestal also suits older 2005-2009 Magellan RoadMate, Triton and Maestro GPS units built around the Dual T-Slot mounting pattern. What you receive in this package is Arkon's Removable Air Vent Mount with Dual T-Tab and nothing else. Its one-piece, spring-loaded vent clip is sturdy enough to clamp onto any horizontal or vertical air vent louvre in the car, and a support leg rests against the base of the vent to reinforce the hold. Team it with a Dual T-Slot holder and you gain a full 360° of rotation, so a smartphone, tablet or GPS can be angled exactly where you want it. Garmin GPS owners are covered too — just unscrew the swivel ball adapter to expose the 17mm ball mount base underneath.
