Built around the Dual-T pattern, the HD001 mounting pedestal can serve as a replacement, an upgrade, or an extra mounting point alongside an existing pedestal. It works with Arkon's universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), including the Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), the Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003), and the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2). Holders are sold separately. Made from strong aluminium, this seat rail or floor mount suits anyone who wants easy reach to an iPad, iPhone or other device but would rather keep it off the windscreen or dashboard. Beyond cars and trucks, it is a recommended option for fleets and service vehicles. Brackets for a range of seat rail configurations are supplied. Fitting to the vehicle's seat rail is done with a socket wrench: loosen the passenger seat track bolt, slide the included seat track bolt bracket into position, then retighten the bolt. From there, bend the 22" adjustable arm and turn the swivel ball adapter head through a full 360 degrees to set the iPad precisely where you want it.
