The HD003 pedestal can serve as a replacement, an upgrade, or an additional station alongside any existing pedestal built to the Dual-T pattern. It pairs with Arkon's range of universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), such as the Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), the Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003) and the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2). What you receive here is Arkon's Heavy-Duty Aluminium 4-Hole Drill Base Mounting Pedestal with 22” Adjustable Arm and Dual-T Head on its own — holders are purchased separately. Once an industry standard, the 4-Hole AMPS layout places four holes in a rectangle spaced 30.17mm by 38.05mm apart, measured centre-to-centre between the holes. Built from strong aluminium, the drill base is the right choice wherever a fixed, long-term setup makes sense, including workshops and retail counters. Screws are supplied. The base can also be fastened straight into the floor of a car, ute or truck. (Warning: drilling into a vehicle floor may cause damage. Take care and speak with a professional mobile installer so you don't drill into sensitive vehicle components.) Flex the 22” adjustable arm and turn the swivel ball adapter head through 360° to line the device up exactly where you want it.
