Arkon's MC2CCAM premium aluminium motorcycle handlebar camera mount suits smaller digital cameras that use the 1/4"-20 mounting pattern, including the Sony Action Cam, Sony POV HD Flash Memory Camcorder, JVC ADIXXION 2, Contour+2 and ContourROAM2. In the box you'll find the Premium Motorcycle Handlebar Camera Mount together with its 1/4"-20 mounting bolt. Offered in a chrome finish, or black if you prefer (Arkon model MC2BCAM), the mount is machined from aluminium and keeps things minimal without giving up strength. It clamps to handlebars measuring up to 31.75mm or 1.25 inches across, and the supplied hex key makes fitting quick work. (Three handlebar spacer/adapter rings in different widths are included as well — pick whichever gives the best fit on your bars.) Thread the base of your action camera onto the 1/4"-20 bolt and you're set to shoot stills or video as you ride, with 360 degree swivel letting you dial in the exact angle you want. Pairing the handlebar mount with a Garmin GPS unit instead? Arkon suggests Model MC2C. For a water-resistant case for smartphones or GPS devices, look at Model MC2C5WPCS, and for use with Arkon universal smartphone and tablet holders in the Dual-T configuration, Arkon recommends Model MC2CSBH. It ranks among the toughest motorcycle accessories going for carrying a camera.
