Arkon Heavy Duty Metal AMPS Mounting Pedestal - 38mm Ball Compatible

Part of Arkon's Robust Mount Series, the RM382XMAMPS is a 7 inch heavy-duty metal mounting pedestal with a 4-hole AMPS drill base — built with commercial vehicle work in mind. It pairs Arkon's metal 5 inch 38mm (1.5 inch) ball-compatible shaft with a metal AMPS drill base and an AMPS head. Drill it straight into solid, flat surfaces such as vehicle dashboards or consoles, and equally into walls, tables and workbenches. Any device using a 4-hole AMPS pattern will fit, including cameras, GPS units and satellite radios. That AMPS pattern is four holes set in a rectangle spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm, measured centre to centre between the holes. The strength of this mount also makes it well suited to mobile radio holders, housings and similar gear relied on across public safety, construction and utility work. Supplied in the package is the heavy-duty mounting pedestal only, complete with its metal 4-hole AMPS drill base and head. End to end the mount stands roughly 7 inches tall, and the shaft itself is metal. Because the pedestal arm swivels at both the top and the bottom, you get double 360-degree rotation and complete freedom to set your device at whatever angle works.
