Arkon Flexible VHB Adhesive Base to 25mm Ball

The SP-VHB25MM is a 70mm flexible adhesive disk that uses extra-strength 3M VHB adhesive, letting you fit a 25mm Arkon Robust Series or RAM mounting pedestal straight onto it. Only the extra-strength adhesive mounting disk is supplied in this package (mounting pedestals are sold separately). The base of the disk measures 70mm (2.75 inches) and is split into 8 "petals" that flex independently, so the disk can conform to slightly curved dashboards and other contoured surfaces. Fitting is straightforward: peel the red plastic liner from the rear of the 3M VHB disk, then position it and press firmly onto a surface you have already cleaned. (For best results, leave the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before bolting the base of your mounting pedestal to the centre of the disk.) WARNING: Take care and think it through before adhering the SPVHB25MM to your vehicle dashboard or any other surface. The 3M VHB adhesive used here is engineered as a PERMANENT bond, so fitting this disk may leave it permanently attached to the chosen surface. Trade-strength solvents or tools may be required to remove the adhesive.
