The Arkon SPSH1420 hot shoe to 1/4"-20 adapter lets you fit 1/4"-20 compatible camera accessories straight onto your camera's hot shoe. Machined from aluminium, it slides into the shoe and gives you a threaded post for lights, microphones, audio or video recorders, displays and other add-ons, while the locking ring keeps the connection firm and secure. Note that no holders or mounts come in this package. If you want to attach a smartphone, Arkon's Mobile Grip 2 universal holder carries a 1/4"-20 threaded camera mounting pattern on its side – see Model MG2HOTSHOE.
