The metal locking holder ships with keys so the tablet stays put and out of reach, and the 6-foot power adapter allows the setup to be hardwired straight into the vehicle.

A 3-foot USB cable is also supplied for setups that don't need to be permanent. In the box you'll find the drill base mount, the tablet case and the USB charger. Keep your fleet's Samsung Galaxy A7 Lite tablets covered with Arkon's custom-made protective case. Soft silicone teams up with hard polycarbonate to deliver multi-layer defence, including a built-in HD screen protector, a protective inner shell and a drop-proof outer shell.

A non-slip grip and removable kickstand make the tablet easier to live with, and the cut-outs leave the touchscreen, side buttons, charging port, headset port and camera fully accessible.

The LockVise™ Metal Tablet Holder uses a solid keyed locking mechanism and secure hardware to guard the tablet and put off would-be thieves, which matters most in busy public areas. It handles tablets from 7" through to 10" and adjusts easily with a 7mm and 10mm socket wrench. From a compact G Pad 7.0 to a larger Nexus 10, it's a dependable fit for commercial fleet duties.

Hardwiring Options

Arkon's CAQCFI 2-Port Fixed Install Car Charger is made for powering Android and Apple tablets, smartphones and other in-vehicle devices, especially in commercial or fleet use. Hardwire the adapter to a 12V–36V vehicle power source, then run your own charge cable from either the USB-A port (12W) or the Quick Charge 3.0 port (18W). The fixed-install charger has an LED indicator light and short circuit protection, and keeps charging for up to 90 minutes after the ignition is switched off.

Make sure you're familiar with how your vehicle operates before you begin the install. Note: using the CAQCFI on electric forklifts with 36/48-volt power calls for a voltage reducer (not included). Arkon's 3-foot USB Type-A Male to USB Type-C Male cable is included as well, handy for charging and moving data between USB Type-A male connections and USB Type-C male connection-compatible devices.

The sturdy mount pedestal stands 4" (102mm) high end to end (the 2.75" arm included), damps down vibration and works with 25mm (1") ball systems. Its 4-hole AMPS pattern bolts securely to any flat surface you choose.
