The TABRMAMPS is the heavy-duty drill base option in Arkon's Robust Mount Series. Screw it to a wall or any other solid flat surface and it will carry tablets with 8.9" to 18.4" screens, including the Apple iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad Air, iPad 4, 3, and 2, Samsung Galaxy View, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and 12.2, Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Google Pixel C, Nexus 10 and Nexus 9, and LG G Pad 10.1. In the box you get the Heavy-Duty 4-Hole AMPS Mounting Pedestal together with the Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder. The Slim-Grip is spring loaded, so pressing down on the lower legs with one hand is all it takes to drop a tablet in or lift it out. Ten support legs are supplied (4 short, 2 medium and 4 long), and you simply pick the 4 that suit your device. They fit into the top and bottom of the holder and slide across easily so side buttons and ports stay clear. Most large tablets sit best with 2 short legs up top and the 2 long legs along the bottom; smaller tablets suit all 4 short legs, while bigger slates such as the iPad Pro work best with all 4 long legs. Rotate the 360-degree swivel whenever you want a portrait view. Mounting follows the 4-Hole AMPS pattern — four holes in a rectangle spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm, measured centre to centre. The tough, low-vibration pedestal stands roughly 4.5 inches from the base of the mount to the top of the pedestal, not counting the holder, and it swivels at both ends for plenty of viewing angles.
