The TABRMAMPS-MET belongs to Arkon's Robust Mount Series and is built for permanent, screw-down installation on walls or any other solid flat surface. It accommodates tablets measuring 7" to 18.4" across the screen, covering the Apple iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad Air, iPad 4, 3 and 2, Samsung Galaxy View, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and 12.2, Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Google Pixel C, Nexus 10 and Nexus 9, plus the LG G Pad 10.1. In the box you get a Heavy-Duty Mounting Pedestal fitted with a Metal 4-Hole AMPS Drill Base, along with a Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder that handles the full 7 to 18.4 inch range. The Slim-Grip uses a spring-loaded action, so pressing down on the lower legs with one hand is all it takes to load or release your tablet. Ten support legs come with the holder — 4 short, 2 medium and 4 long — and you simply pick the 4 that suit your device best. They slot into the top and bottom of the cradle and shift easily so side buttons and ports stay clear. Most large tablets sit best with 2 short legs up top and the 2 long legs underneath; smaller tablets work well with all 4 short legs, while larger models such as the iPad Pro call for all 4 long legs. Switching to a portrait view is handled by the 360-degree swivel. Mounting follows the 4-Hole AMPS pattern — four holes in a rectangular layout spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm, measured centre-to-centre.
