You can fix an AMPS-compatible holder to the mount, which would work perfectly as a tablet holder for GPS and music streaming, or a smartphone AMPS-compatible phone holder, which can hold multiple devices like your phone for GPS or hands-free calling. It can even be used for commercial ventures, like the portable electronic logging devices (ELD) that comply with the ELD E-Log mandate required for commercial vehicles.
