RM38352XMAMPSSH is a 5.4 inch heavy-duty 4-Hole AMPS drill-base mount featuring security hardware that can be easily installed to prevent theft. Part of Arkon's Robust™ Mount Series, this mount is ideal for commercial vehicle use. It features Arkon's 3.5 inch composite 38mm (1.5 inch)-ball compatible shaft with metal AMPS drill base and metal AMPS head. It can be drilled into solid, flat surfaces, such as vehicle dashboards or consoles as well as walls, tables, and workbenches. The mount is compatible with devices having a 4-Hole AMPS pattern, including cameras, GPS devices, or satellite radios. The AMPS pattern consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes).

This tough mount is also ideal for mobile radio holders, housings, and other devices used by public safety, construction, agriculture, and utility applications. This package includes only the heavy-duty mounting pedestal with metal 4-Hole AMPS drill base and head. Switch out the Robust shaft arm's knob with the included 40mm Socket Head and Zinc Nut to deter theft. This mount (Robust shaft with adapters) measures approximately 5.4 inches high from end to end, and the mount shaft is made of composite. The arm of the pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing double 360-degree rotation and the ultimate flexibility in positioning the device at any angle.
