Arkon’s newly designedGN057-SBHair vent car mounting pedestal can be used as a replacement or upgrade to a current mounting pedestal (not a complete solution; holders sold separately). It is recommended only for use with Arkon’s Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003) and the Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2).The mounting pedestal is also compatible with older model (2005-2009) Magellan RoadMate, Triton, and Maestro GPS units that feature the Dual T-Slot mounting pattern. This mount package includes only Arkon’s Removable Air Vent Mount with Dual T-Tab. The one-piece sturdy spring-loaded air vent mount clip secures onto any horizontal or vertical car air vent louvers, and also includes a support leg that rests on the bottom of the vent for added reinforcement. When paired with a Dual T-Slot holder, the air vent mount provides 360° rotation, giving you the ultimate flexibility in positioning the smartphone, tablet, or GPS at any angle. Garmin GPS devices can also be mounted to the car’s air vent by simply unscrewing the swivel ball adapter and revealing the 17mm ball mount base.
