The HD001 mounting pedestal can be used as a replacement, upgrade, or as an addition to an existing pedestal with a Dual-T pattern. It is compatible with Arkon’s universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), including the Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003), and Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2). Holders are sold separately. The car seat rail or floor mount is made of strong aluminum, and is ideal for those who need easy access to their iPad, iPhone or other device but prefer mounting it somewhere other than the windshield or dashboard. In addition to cars and trucks, this pedestal is recommended for fleets and service vehicles. Brackets are included for various seat rail configurations. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Loosen the passenger seat track bolt, insert the included seat track bolt bracket, and then retighten the bolt. Bend the 22” adjustable arm and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360-degree rotation for exact positioning of the iPad.
