The MAG157 combines an air vent clip with a magnetic phone mount, suiting smartphones and other devices on either horizontal or vertical vent louvres. Included is Arkon’s slimline universal rare earth magnetic head, a set of metal device plates, and the vent mount itself with its swivel ball head. Because it works universally, it suits iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Note 8, Galaxy S10, S9, and S8, LG G6, G5, and G4, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5, Nokia Lumia 1520 and 1020, Motorola Moto G and Moto X, plus other smartphones and GPS units weighing up to 6.3 ounces with the case on. Setup is simple: stick one of the metal plates onto the back of your device or case, then let the built-in magnetic head take hold. The magnets grab the plate firmly, keeping a phone, GPS or similar device in place without any holder arms. The one-piece spring-loaded clip is solidly built and latches onto any horizontal or vertical vent louvre, while the support leg rests against the bottom of the vent for extra reinforcement. Rotation through a full 360° comes courtesy of the swivel ball head, so you can dial in whatever viewing angle suits you.
