Built for tablets with screens between 7" and 18.4", the TAB179 Sticky Suction Universal Windshield or Dashboard Tablet Mount handles the Apple iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad Air, iPad 4, 3 and 2, Samsung Galaxy View, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab A 8.0, Galaxy Tab E 8.0, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Google Pixel C, Nexus 10 and Nexus 9, as well as the LG G Pad 10.1. The kit pairs Arkon's Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder with the Sticky Suction Mounting Pedestal, which carries a 3" articulating arm and one-touch lever, and adds an optional 3M adhesive mounting disk. Polyurethane gel works alongside the suction cup to create an exceptionally strong surface bond, while the supplied 3M adhesive disk protects soft vinyl, leather or similar dash trim from lasting indentation marks. Despite that holding power, the base lifts off cleanly and can be reused again and again — if grip starts to fade, simply wash the pad in warm water with a mild liquid soap, let it air dry, and the suction comes back. The Slim-Grip holder takes tablets from 7 to 18.4 inches and uses a spring-loaded action, so pressing down on the lower legs frees one hand to slide the tablet in or out. Ten support legs are included (4 short, 2 medium and 4 long), and you pick the four that suit your device best. They slot into the top and bottom of the holder and shift easily so side buttons and charging ports stay clear. Most large tablets sit best with 2 short legs up top and the 2 long legs underneath; smaller tablets work well with all 4 short legs, and bigger models such as the iPad Pro should use all 4 long legs.
