Working as a Dual T-Slot to 4-Hole AMPS adapter, the AP016-3M gives Dual T-Tab pedestals and mounts a solid anchor point on flat surfaces such as a car dash or console. The vertical plate measures 2.38” high by 1.63” wide and fixes down with the included 3M adhesive or with screws (not included) — either to any flat surface, or to a satellite radio or other device carrying a 4-Hole AMPS hole pattern. Once it's fitted, simply slide a Dual T-Tab pedestal or mount onto the plate. The quick-release action suits anyone taking a device on and off regularly, and the adapter also works alongside vehicle-specific mounts, including ProClip and Pro.Fit options.
