The APAMPS17MM adapter turns any 17mm ball mount into a 4-Hole AMPS drill-base fitting. (Mounts, holders and devices are sold separately.) Loosen the tightening ring, lift off the head that is currently on the mount, drop in the adapter and do the ring back up. It pairs with any Arkon mount that uses the 17mm ball pattern. From there you can fit anything with a 4-Hole AMPS pattern, including vehicle-specific mounts (VSMs), cameras, GPS units, audio/video receivers or satellite radios such as the Sirius S50, Sirius XM Onyx Plus, XM Onyx EZ, Sirius XM Lynx, Stratus 7, Dock & Play and Sirius Dock & Play (sold separately). It also serves as a 17mm Garmin AMPS mount, as the Garmin clips directly onto the 17mm ball.
