The CM088-G17-SBH seat rail or floor car mount replaces or upgrades an existing pedestal and is compatible with Arkon’s universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), including the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2), Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2), and Mini Grip Smartphone Holder (SM015-2SLM). The mounting pedestal is also compatible with older model (2005-2009) Magellan RoadMate, Triton, and Maestro GPS units that feature the Dual T-Slot mounting pattern. This mount package includes only Arkon’s 15" Flexible Steel Seat Rail or Floor Mount with Dual-T Head. The car seat rail or floor mount is made of strong yet flexible steel, and is ideal for service vehicles, trucks, or those who need easy access to their devices but prefer mounting them somewhere other than the windshield or dashboard. The mount measures 18" end-to-end with a 15" flexible gooseneck. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Loosen the passenger seat track bolt, insert the included seat track bolt bracket, and then retighten the bolt. Bend the 15” gooseneck and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360-degree rotation for exact positioning of the device. Optional floor brackets and screws are included for screwing the mount directly into the floor of the vehicle. (Warning: Drilling into the vehicle’s floor may damage the vehicle.
