This kit is not a complete mount solution — you receive only the aluminium seat rail or floor mounting pedestal fitted with the 22-inch flexible gooseneck. (Holders are sold separately.) Arkon’s GN088-L22-SBH car or truck seat rail or floor mounting pedestal is designed to replace or upgrade a pedestal you already have, and it accepts Arkon’s Dual-T universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), including the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2), Slim-Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM050-2), Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003), Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2), and Mini Grip Smartphone Holder (SM015-2SLM). Built from strong yet flexible aluminium, this seat rail or floor mount suits service vehicles, trucks, and anyone who wants their device within easy reach but mounted away from the windscreen or dash. Fitting to the seat rail takes a socket wrench: back off the passenger seat track bolt, slide the supplied seat track bolt bracket into place, then do the bolt back up. From there, bend the 22" gooseneck and turn the swivel ball adapter head through 360 degrees to dial in the exact viewing angle. Optional floor brackets are supplied if you’d rather screw the mount straight into the vehicle floor. (Warning: drilling into the vehicle’s floor may cause damage. Take care and speak with a mobile install professional so you avoid drilling into sensitive vehicle components.)
