(Holders sold separately.) Arkon's GN088-SBH-AMPS-L22 car or truck seat rail / floor pedestal works as a straight replacement, an upgrade, or an extra pedestal alongside one you already run. It fits any device using the 4-Hole AMPS pattern, such as vehicle-specific mounts (VSMs), cameras, GPS units, audio/video receivers and satellite radios including the Sirius S50, Sirius XM Onyx Plus, XM Onyx EZ, Sirius XM Lynx, Stratus 7, Dock & Play and Sirius Dock & Play (sold separately). It also suits mobile radio holders, housings and similar gear relied on in public safety, construction and utility work. Once an industry standard, the 4-Hole AMPS pattern is four holes set out in a rectangle measuring 30.17mm by 38.05mm centre to centre. Made from strong yet flexible aluminium, this seat rail or floor mount is a smart pick for service vehicles, trucks, or anyone who wants their device within easy reach but mounted well away from the windscreen and dash. Fitting to the seat rail takes a socket wrench: back off the passenger seat track bolt, slip the supplied seat track bolt bracket into place, then torque the bolt back up. From there, bend the 22" gooseneck and turn the swivel ball adapter head through its full 360 degrees to lock in the exact position you want. Optional floor brackets are also included if you prefer to screw the mount straight into the vehicle floor. (Warning: drilling into the vehicle floor may cause damage.
