Arkon’s GN088-SBH car or truck seat rail or floor mounting pedestal can be used as a replacement, upgrade, or as an addition to an existing mount pedestal. It is compatible with Arkon’s Dual-T universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), including the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2), Slim-Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM050-2), Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003), Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2), and Mini Grip Smartphone Holder (SM015-2SLM). This package is not a complete mount solution and includes only the Metal Seat Rail or Floor Mounting Pedestal with 18-inch Flexible Gooseneck. (Holders sold separately.) The car seat rail or floor mount is made of metal, and is ideal for service vehicles, trucks, or those who need easy access to their devices but prefer mounting them somewhere other than the windshield or dashboard. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Loosen the passenger seat track bolt, insert the included seat track bolt bracket, and then retighten the bolt. Bend the 18” gooseneck and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360-degree rotation for exact positioning of the device. Optional floor brackets are included for screwing the mount directly into the floor of the vehicle. (Warning: Drilling into the vehicle’s floor may damage the vehicle. Use caution and consult a mobile install professional to avoid drilling into any sensitive vehicle components.) A metal conduit is also included for bracing the mount's gooseneck against the car's console or other area to minimize vibration (screws not included).
