The HD001AMPS mounting pedestal can be used as a replacement, upgrade, or as an addition to an existing pedestal with a 4-Hole AMPS drill-base pattern. It is compatible with Arkon’s Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001-AMPS), as well as to Dual-T to AMPS adapters (sold separately) for compatibility with Arkon’s Dual-T phone and tablet holders. It is also compatible with devices having a 4-Hole AMPS pattern, including vehicle-specific mounts (VSMs), cameras, GPS devices, audio/video receivers, or satellite radios including Sirius S50, Sirius XM Onyx Plus, XM Onyx EZ, Sirius XM Lynx, Stratus 7, Dock & Play, and Sirius Dock & Play (sold separately). The car seat rail mount is made of strong aluminum, and is ideal for those who need easy access to their iPad, iPhone or other device but prefer mounting it somewhere other than the windshield or dashboard. In addition to cars and trucks, this pedestal is recommended for fleets and service vehicles. Multiple brackets are included for various seat rail configurations. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Loosen the passenger seat track bolt, insert the included seat track bolt bracket, and then retighten the bolt. Bend the 22” adjustable arm and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360-degree rotation for exact positioning of the device.
