The HD002AMPS pedestal works as a replacement, an upgrade, or an extra mounting point alongside an existing pedestal using a 4-Hole AMPS pattern. It pairs with Arkon's Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001-AMPS), and with Dual-T to AMPS adapters (sold separately) so Arkon's Dual-T phone and tablet holders can be fitted as well. Any hardware carrying a 4-Hole AMPS pattern will bolt straight on, including vehicle-specific mounts (VSMs), cameras, GPS units, audio/video receivers and satellite radios such as the Sirius S50, Sirius XM Onyx Plus, XM Onyx EZ, Sirius XM Lynx, Stratus 7, Dock & Play and Sirius Dock & Play (all sold separately). What you receive here is Arkon's Heavy-Duty Aluminium C-Clamp Base Mounting Pedestal with 22" adjustable arm and AMPS head only — holders are sold separately. Built from aluminium for serious duty, it suits offices, workshops and worksites where a tablet or phone needs to stay within easy reach but bench or desk space is tight. Clamp the base to a desk, cart, worktable, bench, lectern or similar table-like edge, or fit it to a wheelchair in minutes. The C-clamp holds firm and opens to a full 1.75 inches. Bend the 22" arm and turn the swivel ball adapter head through 360° to lock in exactly the viewing angle you want.
