The HD005-AMPS pedestal can serve as a replacement, an upgrade, or an extra mounting point alongside an existing pedestal fitted with a 4-Hole AMPS pattern. It mates with Arkon's Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001-AMPS) and, via Dual-T to AMPS adapters (sold separately), with Arkon's Dual-T phone and tablet holders. Anything else carrying a 4-Hole AMPS pattern will fit too, including vehicle-specific mounts (VSMs), cameras, GPS devices, audio/video receivers and satellite radios such as the Sirius S50, Sirius XM Onyx Plus, XM Onyx EZ, Sirius XM Lynx, Stratus 7, Dock & Play and Sirius Dock & Play (all sold separately). That makes it a sound choice for mobile radio holders, housings and similar equipment used across public safety, construction and utility work. Once an industry standard, the 4-Hole AMPS pattern places four holes in a rectangle measuring 30.17mm by 38.05mm, taken centre-to-centre between holes. Supplied here is Arkon's Heavy-Duty Aluminium Mounting Pedestal with a 10" adjustable arm and 4-Hole Drill Base, topped with a 4-Hole AMPS head. Built from strong aluminium, the drill base is made for spots where you want the mount to stay put for good, such as a workshop or retail counter. Screws are included. Bend the 10" arm and turn the swivel ball adapter head through 360° to line the device up exactly where you want it.
