The HD006 multi-angle drill-base mounting pedestal can serve as a replacement, an upgrade, or an additional mounting position on a setup that already uses the Dual-T pattern. It pairs with Arkon's universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), such as the Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), the Universal Tablet Push Button Holder (TAB003), and the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2). What you receive here is Arkon's Heavy-Duty Aluminium 4-Hole Drill Base Mounting Pedestal with 8" Multi-Angle Arm and Dual-T Head on its own — holders are purchased separately. Three adjustment knobs sit at 2.5" intervals along the solid 8" arm, making it simple to dial in your preferred angle, while two further 180° adjustment points at the top and bottom of the mount widen your positioning options again. Once an industry standard, the 4-Hole AMPS pattern places four holes in a rectangle spaced 30.17mm by 38.05mm, measured centre to centre. Built from strong aluminium, the 4-hole drill base suits situations calling for a genuinely fixed solution, such as a workshop or a retail counter. Screws are supplied. The base can also be fastened straight into the floor of a car or truck. (Warning: drilling into a vehicle floor may cause damage.
