This Tablet Lock Box Bundle lets you fit a Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 permanently and safely into a fleet vehicle, combining a commercial-grade locking tablet enclosure, a heavy-duty 23" seat rail mount and a commercial vehicle power system. The LBFLXTABE-L23 has been built for the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 alone (dimensions: 8.34 x 4.96 x .35 inches or 212 x 126 x 8.9mm). It's a smart choice for limos, boats, trolleys, school buses, delivery vans, taxis and any other fleet where a tablet has to stay put. It also works well with a portable electronic logging device (ELD) so you can comply with the upcoming ELD E-Log mandate for commercial vehicles. The tablet seats snugly inside the tough plastic lock box, which lifts away from the mount base using the key lock (keys supplied). Cutouts through the enclosure leave the camera, power button and power outlet within easy reach, and a hand strap makes the tablet simple to carry once you're out of the vehicle. The 2.4 Amp charging system delivers suitable power to the tablet without overcharging the battery, and a magnetic charging insert module plus hardwire kit are included as well. The lock box pedestal bolts to any car or truck seat rail (2 brackets supplied), and Arkon suggests using a professional mobile installer so you avoid drilling into sensitive vehicle components. The rugged seat rail mount measures 23 inches (584mm) end to end.
