Part of Arkon's Robust Mount Series, the MRM2XAMPS is a 4-hole AMPS drill base mounting pedestal built for demanding commercial vehicle work. Both the drill base and the AMPS head are heavy-duty metal, adding extra stability where it counts. It drills straight into solid, flat surfaces such as car dashboards and consoles, as well as walls, tables and workbenches. Any device carrying a 4-hole AMPS pattern will bolt on, including cameras, GPS devices and satellite radios, and this tough pedestal also suits mobile radio holders, housings and other equipment used across public safety, construction and utility applications. The AMPS pattern is made up of four holes arranged in a rectangle spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm, measured as the centre-to-centre distance between holes. This package contains the heavy-duty mounting pedestal with metal 4-hole AMPS drill base and head only. The mount stands approximately 5 inches high from end to end and the shaft is metal. The pedestal arm swivels at both the top and the bottom, delivering 360-degree rotation and complete freedom to position your device at any angle.
