Part of the Arkon Robust Mount Series, the RM2XAMPS-MET is a 4-hole AMPS drill base mounting pedestal built with a metal AMPS drill base plus a metal AMPS head for the extra stability commercial vehicle work demands. It bolts straight into solid, flat surfaces — dashboards and centre consoles, as well as walls, tables and workbenches. Any device using the 4-hole AMPS pattern will fit, including cameras, GPS units and satellite radios. That pattern is a rectangular arrangement of four holes spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm apart, measured centre-to-centre between holes. Its tough build also makes it well suited to mobile radio holders, housings and other gear relied on across public safety, construction and utility applications. Supplied in this package is the heavy-duty mounting pedestal only, complete with the metal 4-hole AMPS drill base and head. Overall height measures roughly 5 inches end to end, and the mount shaft is produced from a nylon and fibre blend. Because the pedestal arm swivels at both the top and the bottom, you get full 360-degree rotation and complete freedom to angle your device exactly where you want it.
