The RM2XAMPS-MET-SH 4-Hole Metal AMPS Mount measures 5 inches from end to end, and is part of Arkon’s Robust Mount Series. It includes security hardware (hex bolt and key) that can be used instead of the mount’s tightening knob to help keep your device secure in retail environments or in commercial trucks, vans, taxis, or other fleet vehicles. This tough mounting pedestal is ideal for mobile radio holders, housings, and other devices used by public safety, construction, and utility applications, including cameras, GPS devices, or satellite radios. It is also compatible with select GPS Lockbox products. The mount can be drilled into solid, flat surfaces, such as walls, tables, workbenches, and vehicle interiors. It features a metal AMPS drill mount base as well as a metal AMPS head. The AMPS pattern consists of four holes in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). This package includes only the Heavy-Duty 4-Hole AMPS Mounting Pedestal with 4-Hole AMPS Head and Security Hardware (holders and devices sold separately). This tough, low-vibration pedestal measures approximately 5 inches high from end to end (holder not included) and is made of a combination of plastic and glass fiber. The arm of the pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing 360-degree rotation and the ultimate flexibility in positioning the device at any angle.
