Part of the Arkon Robust Mount Series, the RM2XAMPS-MET-SH 4-Hole Metal AMPS Mount spans 5 inches end to end. Supplied security hardware (a hex bolt and key) can replace the mount's tightening knob, helping to keep gear where it belongs in retail settings or in commercial trucks, vans, taxis and other fleet vehicles. It's a hard-working pedestal suited to mobile radio holders, housings and other equipment relied on across public safety, construction and utility work, including cameras, GPS units and satellite radios. Select GPS Lockbox products are also compatible. Drill it straight into solid, flat surfaces such as walls, tables, workbenches and vehicle interiors. Both the drill mount base and the head use a metal AMPS design. The AMPS layout is four holes in a rectangular arrangement spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm apart, measured centre to centre between holes. You receive the Heavy-Duty 4-Hole AMPS Mounting Pedestal with 4-Hole AMPS Head and Security Hardware only — holders and devices are sold separately. Built from a mix of plastic and glass fibre, this rugged low-vibration pedestal measures approximately 5 inches high end to end without a holder fitted. The arm swivels at the top and the bottom for full 360-degree rotation, so you can set your device at virtually any angle.
