The RM2XAMPS-SH 4-Hole AMPS Mounting Pedestal comes from Arkon's Robust Mount Series and ships with security hardware — a hex bolt and matching key — that takes the place of the mount's tightening knob so your device stays put in a retail space or a vehicle. This heavy-duty pedestal suits mobile radio holders, housings and similar gear used across public safety, construction and utility work, GPS Lockbox products included. It drills straight into solid, flat surfaces: walls, tables, workbenches and vehicle interiors. Both an AMPS drill mount base and an AMPS head are built in. RM2XAMPS accepts devices with a 4-hole AMPS pattern, so cameras, GPS units or satellite radios all bolt on. That AMPS pattern is four holes in a rectangular layout spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm, measured centre-to-centre between the holes. Supplied in this package is the Heavy-Duty 4-Hole AMPS Mounting Pedestal with 4-Hole AMPS Head and Security Hardware only — holders and devices are sold separately. Standing 6.5 inches high and moulded from a plastic and glass fibre blend, the pedestal resists vibration well. Its arm swivels at both the top and the bottom for full 360-degree rotation, letting you set your device at practically any angle.
