Arkon 7" Heavy-Duty Metal AMPS Mount with Security Hardware - 38mm (1.5 inch) Ball Compatible
Part of Arkon's Robust Mount Series, the RM382XMAMPSSH pairs a 7 inch heavy-duty metal 4-Hole AMPS drill base with security hardware for demanding commercial vehicle work. It combines Arkon's 5 inch metal 38mm (1.5 inch)-compatible shaft with a metal AMPS drill base and an AMPS head, ready to be drilled into flat, solid surfaces such as dashboards, consoles, walls, tables and workbenches. Once fitted to the Robust mount shaft, the included security hardware helps deter theft.

Any device with a 4-Hole AMPS pattern will fit this mount, including cameras, GPS units and satellite radios. That AMPS pattern is a rectangular arrangement of four holes spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm apart, measured centre to centre between the holes. Built tough, it also suits mobile radio holders, housings and similar gear relied on across public safety, construction and utility work. Supplied in this package is the heavy-duty mounting pedestal only, complete with its metal 4-Hole AMPS drill base and head. End to end the mount stands roughly 7 inches high, and the shaft is metal throughout. Because the arm swivels at both the top and the bottom, you get double 360-degree rotation and complete freedom to set your device at whatever angle works best.
