Arkon Robust™ 5.4 inch Metal AMPS Mount with Security Hardware - 38mm (1.5 inch) Ball Compatible
The RM38352XMAMPSSH is a 5.4 inch heavy-duty drill-base pedestal with a 4-Hole AMPS pattern and included security hardware that installs quickly to discourage theft, making it a smart pick for commercial vehicles. From Arkon's Robust™ Mount Series, it pairs a 3.5 inch composite 38mm (1.5 inch)-ball compatible shaft with a metal AMPS drill base and metal AMPS head, ready to be drilled into any solid flat surface — dashboards, consoles, walls, tables or workbenches. It suits any device with a 4-Hole AMPS pattern, such as cameras, GPS units or satellite radios, where the four holes sit in a rectangle spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm centre-to-centre.

Built to take punishment, this pedestal also suits mobile radio holders, housings and similar gear relied on across public safety, construction, agriculture and utility work. Supplied in this package is the heavy-duty mounting pedestal on its own, complete with metal 4-Hole AMPS drill base and metal AMPS head. To make the setup harder to walk off with, simply replace the Robust shaft arm's knob with the supplied 40mm Socket Head and Zinc Nut. End to end, the assembled mount (Robust shaft plus adapters) stands roughly 5.4 inches tall, with a composite shaft doing the heavy lifting. Both the top and bottom of the arm pivot, giving you twin 360-degree rotation so the device can be dialled in to virtually any viewing angle.
