Part of Arkon's Robust Mount Series, the RM38852XMAMPS is a heavy-duty metal mounting pedestal built around a 4-hole AMPS drill base. Made for commercial vehicle duty, it pairs Arkon's metal 8.5 inch 38mm (1.5 inch)-compatible shaft with a metal AMPS drill base at one end and an AMPS head at the other. Drill it straight into any solid, flat surface — dashboards and centre consoles, or walls, tables and workbenches. It suits any device carrying the 4-hole AMPS pattern, including cameras, GPS units and satellite radios. That pattern is four holes set in a rectangle spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm, measured centre-to-centre between holes. The rugged build also makes it a sound choice for mobile radio holders, housings and similar equipment used across public safety, construction, agriculture and utility work. Supplied on its own: the heavy-duty mounting pedestal with metal 4-hole AMPS drill base and head. Assembled with adapters, the Robust shaft mount stands roughly 10.5 inches from end to end, and the shaft itself is metal. Because the pedestal arm swivels at both the top and the bottom, you get double 360-degree rotation and complete freedom to angle the device exactly where you want it.
