Built for service vehicles and trucks, the RM8825MM2T pedestal fixes to a seat rail or directly to the vehicle floor, and can serve as a replacement, an upgrade, or a second mounting point alongside a pedestal you already run. The Dual-T head suits Arkon's Dual-T universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), including the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (Model SM060-2), the Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (Model TAB001), the Universal Tablet Push-Button Holder (Model TAB003) and the Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (Model SM040-2). Note that this is not a complete mounting solution: the package contains only the Metal 18” Seat Rail or Floor Mounting Pedestal with 25mm (1 inch) ball-compatible Robust Mount Shaft and Dual-T Head. (Holders sold separately.) It is a smart pick for fleet vehicles, trucks, or any driver who wants a device within easy reach but mounted somewhere other than the windscreen or dashboard. Fitting to the seat rail calls for a socket wrench — loosen the passenger seat track bolt, slide the supplied seat track bolt bracket into position, then retighten the bolt. Bend the 18” gooseneck to shape and work both 25mm adjustment points for full 360-degree rotation of your device. Optional floor brackets are also included if you would rather screw the pedestal straight into the floor of the vehicle. (Warning: drilling into the vehicle's floor may cause damage.
