The RMAMPS2T-MET mounting pedestal is part of Arkon’s Robust Mount Series. It can replace or upgrade an existing pedestal and mounts to walls or other solid flat surfaces with screws (not included) using the metal 4-Hole AMPS drill base. The pedestal is compatible with Arkon’s Dual-T pattern universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately), including the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2), Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), and Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2). The pedestal is also compatible with other third-party Dual-T pattern holders. This mount includes only the heavy-duty 4-Hole AMPS mounting pedestal with metal base and Dual-T head. Holders and adapters sold separately. The AMPS drill base pattern consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). This tough, low vibration pedestal measures 5 inches from end to end, and is made of a combination of plastic and nylon. The arm of the pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing 360-degree rotation and the ultimate flexibility in positioning the smartphone or tablet at any angle. This mount includes a metal AMPS base for additional stability in commercial vehicles, and can also be screwed directly into the dash, console, or floor of your vehicle.
