The RMS2XAMPS-MET 4-hole AMPS mounting pedestal belongs to Arkon's Robust Mount Series. Standing just over 4" tall from end to end, it is the pedestal to reach for in confined spots where a shorter, lower-vibration platform makes life easier. Both a metal 4-hole AMPS drill base and a metal AMPS head are supplied for extra rigidity. Drill it into solid, flat surfaces such as a dashboard or centre console, or fix it to a wall, table or workbench — it accepts tablet and phone holders along with any device carrying the 4-hole AMPS pattern, including Arkon's Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001-AMPS), plus cameras, GPS devices and satellite radios. The AMPS drill-base layout is four holes in a rectangle spaced 30.17mm x 38.05mm, measured centre-to-centre between holes. This hard-wearing pedestal also suits mobile radio holders, housings and similar gear used across public safety, construction and utility work. The package contains the heavy-duty 4-hole metal AMPS mounting pedestal and 4-hole metal AMPS head with security hardware only — no holders or adapters are supplied.
