The cradle's side-grip design holds firmly yet stays simple to operate: drop the phone in, close the arms and it locks; press the side button and it releases. This is the mount to choose if you want your phone secured in the ute, truck or car but would rather keep the windscreen and dash clear. Fitting is done with a socket wrench — back off the passenger seat track bolt, slide the seat track bolt bracket underneath, then torque the bolt back down. Shape the 18-inch gooseneck to suit, and use both 25mm ball joints to swing the phone through a full 360 degrees.
