The SM688 car or truck seat rail or floor mount can be used with all phones up to 8” screen size, including iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Note 8, Note 5, and Note 4, Galaxy S8, S7 edge, S7, S6 edge+, and S6, LG G6 and G5, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5, HTC One M9, One M8, and One Max, Nokia Lumia 1520 and 1020, Motorola Moto G and Moto X. This mount includes Arkon’s Slim-Grip Ultra patented universal smartphone or midsize tablet holder and a seat rail or floor mount with 18” flexible aluminum gooseneck. The top and bottom adjustable-leg design of the Slim-Grip Ultra holder helps keep side buttons and ports unobstructed, making it ideal for use with the side-accessible buttons on the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Note Edge. Included with the holder are 8 support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions) that can be customized based on device size. For most devices, the best mount holder configuration is to attach 2 short support legs on top and the 2 long support legs on the bottom of the holder. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Loosen the passenger seat track bolt, insert the included bracket, and then retighten the bolt. Bend the 18” gooseneck and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360° rotation for positioning of the device. Optional floor brackets are included for screwing the mount directly into the floor of the vehicle. (Warning: Drilling into the vehicle’s floor may damage the vehicle. For a seat rail or car floor mount with a longer gooseneck, Arkon recommends Model SM688L22, featuring a 22” aluminum gooseneck.
