A Phillips screwdriver is all you need to dial the holder's height and width in to your phone's dimensions. (Load the phone in landscape, then turn the holder around if you'd rather view in portrait.) The universal locking holder uses a key lock — keys are included — so the phone stays put. Mounting to the seat or floor suits anyone who wants their phone held in the car or truck but away from the windscreen or dash, and security hardware is included to help deter theft. To fit it to the seat rail, use a socket wrench to back off the passenger seat track bolt, slide the seat track bolt bracket into place, then do the bolt back up. Shape the 18 inch gooseneck to suit and use both double-ball adjustment points for full 360-degree phone rotation. Measured end to end with the Robust mount shaft arm included, the mount comes to 21.5 inches.
