Arkon Bulk Version of AP013 - 80mm Adhesive Dash Mounting Disk for 70mm Suction Mounts

This 80mm adhesive disk creates a smooth, purpose-built surface on your dash so an Arkon or third-party 70mm windscreen suction pedestal can lock on properly — including the Arkon pedestal models GN079WD-SBH, GN068WD-SBH, GN022-SBH, GN014-SBH, GN015-SBH and GN042-SBH. (The disk is deliberately a little wider than the mount itself, which is what gives the suction cup a secure hold.) Only the adhesive disk is supplied here; mounting pedestals are sold separately. Fitting it is straightforward: peel the paper backing off the rear of the plastic 3M dash disk, then position it on a surface you've already cleaned and press down firmly. (Use the supplied alcohol pad to make sure the spot is clean and free of dashboard conditioners or other treatments. Ideally, give the adhesive a full 24 hours to cure on the dash before you attach the base of the mount to the centre of the disk.) The disk is designed as a semi-permanent fixture, though it can be taken off again: soak the area generously with rubbing alcohol or a similar adhesive remover using a cotton swab, let it penetrate, then slide a long length of dental floss underneath and saw through the adhesive until the disk lifts away.
