Arkon's CM078WD-SBH sticky suction car mounting pedestal is designed to replace or upgrade a pedestal you already own, and it pairs with Arkon's universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately) — among them the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2), Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001), Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2) and Mini Grip Smartphone Holder (SM015-2SLM). It also suits older 2005-2009 Magellan RoadMate, Triton and Maestro GPS units built around the Dual T-Slot mounting pattern. The package contains Arkon's Sticky Suction 80mm Windscreen or Dashboard Mounting Pedestal with one-touch lever, along with an adhesive dash mounting disk. That combination makes it a natural fit for car dashboards, windscreens and other flat or slightly textured spots. The base draws on both polyurethane gel and suction to form the strongest possible bond with the surface, while the included 3M adhesive disk shields soft vinyl, leather and similar dash finishes from permanent indentation marks. Despite the holding power, the sticky suction pedestal lifts off cleanly and can be reused again and again. Should the grip start to fade, rinse the suction pad in warm water with a mild liquid soap, let it air dry, and the suction comes back. The arm tilts vertically and rotates a full 360°, so you can line the screen up from whatever angle suits the driver.
